Jack Nichols

Jack V. Nichols of Otsego, Michigan, went to be with his Lord on October 10, 2013 in Alamo. Mr. Nichols was born December 10, 1931, in Otsego to Robert and Bertha (Finger) Nichols.

Jack served his country in the U.S. Navy. For over 35 years he worked for Menasha Corp. until his retirement. He also served on the Otsego Fire Dept. for 32 years.

On February 17, 1956 he married

Betty Trutsch

, who survives. Also surviving are his children,

Ralph

of Allegan, Esta of Otsego, John (Heather) of Otsego and Rose (Mike) Peters of Pullman; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Bill) Kracher of Kalamazoo; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 7 sisters and 5 brothers.

Friends may visit with his family on Monday, October 14, 2013, at

Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego

, from 12 Noon until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M., celebrant Bill Rose officiating. Cremation will follow with burial of ashes and Military Honors at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, at a later date.

was sorry to hear about Jack, he and my Dad(Gene Wycoff) have been friends since they work together at Menasha also for the last year at Alamo Nursing home, I know my dad will miss him they share the same table for meals, my prayers all of his family, God Bless you
