Oh Grace, I just read about your mom’s passing and was so stunned to read about Junior too. What sweet people they both were, and just as much still are and present for you. I will always picture him standing at the end of your driveway, talking and joking with me and Howard, in that quiet soft way he had. And your mom was always so sweet to me. While it may be of little comfort right now, and no mere words can ever be, all I can think of is that it might be said that they are watching over each other for you

The news of Ivan’s passing was a surprise to read. Although I did not know him personally, I was in contact with him many times. Ivan was not only a fellow soldier who served with the 127th Signal Battalion in Korea, he contributed many of the photos seen on my website

http://b127sigbncasey.com

. You can see his photos that are still posted there. I am saddened to hear of Ivan’s passing. My condolences to his family and his friends.

I know this is more than 10 years late, but I’m reminded of Ivan whenever I look at my website photos. Ivan was one of the main photo contributors to my website. I didn’t know Ivan personally, but we had a great deal of contact via the internet. Ivan and I were stationed in the same unit at Camp Casey Korea, but at different times. My prayers have gone out to his family since I learned of his passing. I still have the photos he contributed. If anyone should be interested in seeing them, feel free to contact me at
