Dear friends –
My mother Eleanor Myers and Helen were good pals. I will always remember Helen as a kind and thoughtful soul. After my father (Hugh Myers) passed away in 1976, Our mother had to learn to drive a car but she never felt competent or got brave enough to drive into Kalamazoo. Helen was always ready to lend a helping hand to my mother by giving her rides to her dentist and doctor appointments in Kalamazoo. She was a great blessing to my mother who passed away at age 86.

Thinking of all of you on the passing of Helen. She was such a lovely lady and always had a smile for me. I worked for Mr. Strater in the guidance for a couple of years in High School and got to know both him and Helen at that time. God blessed her with a long life and I’m sure you will miss her. May you find strength in your faith at this sad time. With Love, Diane & John Glessner

We have so many fond memories of Helen through Eastern Star. She was a Past Matron and held the office of Secretary for over 25 years. She always had a smile and never an unkind word. She worked on many dinners at the Masonic Temple and was loved by many. She always remembered everything when the rest of us couldn’t. She will be greatly missed.
