May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. …
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place,
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids
And whispered, ‘Peace be Thine’.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home

We have never been a wealthy family, but today we are so much poorer as we acknowledge the loss of Aunt Hazel. My family’s thoughts and prayers go out to our extended family in this time of loss. I know today she is in heaven in the arms of her Savior, our LORD JESUS. Among many of my favorite memories of Hazel was the sight of her sitting at mom’s bedside, caring for her as she was passing away last March. She was tending to mom in spite of the fact that she herself was already so very ill. That’s just the kind of loving, generous heart we knew her for. We know that just as her loved ones that are in Heaven was there to greet her, she will be in Heaven ready to greet us with her beautiful smile. We will miss her.

I didn’t know aunt Hazel that well I first met her when grandma went into the hospital for colon cancer. So the little that I did know of her was that she was a sweet woman and was always there for grandma. And now she is at peace. Back with grandma.
