Dear Family of Hazel,

Hazel was a dear friend. She was my “partner in crime”. We had so much fun together at work as well as outside of work. I will miss her so much! Such a beautiful, loving person! I learned so much from her! I loved her like a mother! Please know that she is a special Angel in Heaven watching over all of us. Rest in peace, dear friend, until we can see each other again!

Hazel was a wonderful person she was my aunt and a great friend. I could count on her when ever I needed to talk to someone day or night she was always there for me. I will deeply miss her; she also was so proud of her daughters and son and grand kids. My thoughts and prayers go out too all of you; she’s in a better place and without pain.

Linda and Family,

Your mom was a second mom to me from 3rd grade thru high school. I remember your mom as being the most industrious house cleaner of her time. It seemed like every Saturday when I visited, she cleaned the floors with ammonia which kept them clean and shiny with fresh wax. It was great seeing and talking to her again after 40 years. Hazel was a very warm and caring woman and I enjoyed sharing a cup of coffee and pie with her. Linda, I am so proud of you for devoting the last 15 years of your retirement years to your mom. You spent almost every day with her and know that you made a big difference in her life. By being there for your mother, you full filled a dream that every mother could wish for in a daughter. Hazel has joined the other angels in heaven and when a twinkling star is shining, look up and know Hazel is with you always.

I remember Hazel so well as a child she visited next door here in Kentucky with Uncle John and Aunt Bill. She was always laughing and talking and just a joy to be around. When uncle John was older your dad came down and spent quite a bit of time with him he would always walk over in the evenings and sit around with my mom they all enjoyed that time so much. sorry for your loss. and that through the years we have all lost touch

Thank you all for your memories of my Grandma. I know the impact she has still on my life and it’s nice to know she was loved by so many. It still hasn’t really sunk in that she’s not here but these stories warm my heart and are so appreciated. Thank you all
