Gregory E. Simpson

Greg passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024, in Battle Creek.

He was born September 18, 1960, in Allegan, the son of William and Peggy (Town) Simpson. Greg proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves. He worked at Crescent Electric as a welder and at Murco for the state of Iowa doing lab work.

 As a young man Greg enjoyed putting together models. He loved fishing and won contests for tying flies. Greg also liked racing lawn mowers.

Surviving are his children, Katrina and Thomasena; grandson, Justin; mother, Peggy; siblings, Deb (Larry) Pillars, Tammy Syers, and Chuck (Amy) Simpson along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill and siblings, Margie and Tom.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.

A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at a later time.
