So many memories of fun with you and Aunt Betty at your house. The bull getting lose to the darn chickens lol. The pancake people you made Scott and I for breakfast. Trying to see if I was able to drive your old snowmobile and that was a no lol. The time you showed up to deliver cloth diapers and wanted to see your new great niece and Brian didn’t know you yet and didn’t know if you needed to show the baby to get diapers . Say hi to my parents and my brother love you Uncle Gordon rest in peace.

Gordon you will be missed by all of us, family and friends. You and Bette were always there for all celebrations. Whether it was a graduation, a wedding or any other gathering for family even great nieces and nephews, you were there with us. I remember you as Santa at Christmas coming in with a hoe saying “ho, ho, ho”. I am so sorry I can’t be with everyone on Tuesday as you were always there for us. Sending prayers for Peace, Comfort and Healing for everyone.

Bette and family, Gordon will be missed. After working with him on the trowbridge township planning Commission board for over 20 years we became close friends. He was always ready to debate even though he couldn’t always hear what was said! I very much enjoyed him and am sorry I won’t be able to attend as I now live in Cadillac. I will still be there in spirit and wish you peace and joy from Jesus.

We are rejoicing with heaven that Gordon is now in the presence of his savior, and resting in his eternal home. We wish we were home to join in the celebration of his life. He was such a character! Loved his Lord, loved his church, loved his family, and he loved to laugh! I just smile when I think of he and Betty together, it was always entertaining.

I can just imagine the hug he and Kryn had the day he arrived in heaven.

Peace be with you all, in Christ!

Pastor Tony
