I loved Gertie. What a special lady she was. I have many fond memories in my heart, that i will cherish forever.
I will never forget the time that Gertie styled my wig and did my make-up for the Miss Camporama contest at our Moose Lodge. She was so intent on making me “beautiful”,We shared many laughs over this.
God Bless you,my dear friend as you walk with the Lord. Everything is Beautiful in Heaven….therefore You fit divinely.
My thoughts and Love are with the family,

I first met Geritie working in the office with Dr. Ana Frunza. Gertie was always neat as a pin with her hair & make-up done and clothing like she stepped away fresh from the ironing board! A very thoughtful lady. She was a joy to know and a pleasurable patient to work with. Many times she made some little thing and provided us with ‘unexpected surprises’. On busy days at work it created a little moment of feeling appreciated by her thoughtful little gestures. My heart goes out to Mike and her family. Heaven just got a little nicer because Gertie is there.

Dear Mike, Terri, Pat & Lana,
We are saddened to read about Gertie. Mike and Gertie are special people to us. I think of all the conventions and fun we had together at the Moose. You both were so wonderful to Sonny during his illness. I have so many beautiful memories. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
We will see you in April.
Love Terri and Howard

Dear Pat, So sorry for your loss. The final good-by to our mom is so difficult no matter what the circumstance may be. However, you will be blessed with wonderful memories of your mom, locked in your heart forever. Our condolences to your family.
By the way Pat, to this day I use Gert’s great recipe for “beef burgundy” when ever dinner calls for something special.

Hello Mike. So sorry to hear of your loss. You and Gertie were always so friendly and sincere when George Hall and I made music in the bar a Corsiglia’s. I think of those days often and have fond memories of all the old gang.
I lost my wife Bonnie to cancer in Oct. 2010, and feel for you in what you are going thru. Still playing music with 5 piece band at Senior Services–Coover Center, 2nd Thurs each month. Just can’t get those old songs out of my mind. Best regards to all–
