I am so surprised and saddened to see that Trudy has passed. We were co-workers at McDonalds years ago and had a great time together. She was a fun person and a lovely lady. I pray that God will comfort all who loved her in the days ahead, because I’m sure she will be greatly missed.

I had the great pleasure of working with Trudy at the Plainwell McDonalds many years ago. She was the sweetest, most kind person, with a great smile and laugh. My condolences to her family. I know she will be missed by so many.

Dear Bill and family: We just learned of Gert’s passing. So sorry for your loss. It’s sad that when you move away, as we did in 1983, our lives change and we sometimes lose contact of people who played a big part in our lives; but that doesn’t mean we don’t think of them often. Gert was such a beautiful person inside and outside. We felt so fortunate to have her as a babysitter for our youngest, Lisa. I saw her at my Mom’s visitation in 2014. It was so good to be able to see her and give her a hug. She will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Uncle Bill and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I just heard from Matt about Aunt Gert’s passing. It is such as shame that our families have drifted apart due to time and distance. I have many fond memories of the Martell-gang get together’s and And Aunt Gert’s kindness in particular.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love, dave
