Geraldine M. “Gerri” Storbeck passed away

. Gerri was born
January 22, 1931
in
Flint
, the daughter of John and Geraldine (Edwards) Goodman. For over 30 years she was a member and the Financial Secretary at the West Vienna United Methodist Church; Gerri was a life member of Order of the Eastern Star, Mt. Morris Chapter; she crocheted over 200 pairs of mittens for the Kalamazoo Ministry with Community at the Park Place Assisted Living Community where she lived for the past 3 years. On
December 12, 1953
she married Clayton Storbeck, who preceded her in death on
November 18, 1989
. Surviving are her sons, Mike (Debbie) Storbeck of Kalamazoo and Matt (Sherri) Storbeck of Otsego; 3 grandchildren, Sarah (Eli) Kendra of Aurora, IL, Rebecca (Jonathan) Thompson of Portage and Justin Storbeck of Otsego; sisters, Joann Alexander of
Mt.
Morris
and Janice Davis of
Linden
,
MI
; and several nieces. Friends may meet with the family from 10 to 12 Noon Monday at the West Vienna United Methodist Church with the funeral service at 12 Noon, The Rev. Billie Lou Gillespie officiating. Burial will follow at the
West
Vienna
Township
Cemetery
.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gerri may be made to the West Vienna United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
