Georgia passed away, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Rose Arbor Hospice.
She was born in Black River, New York, on December 20, 1925, the daughter of Paul and Irene (Murphy) Gracey. Georgia enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing cards, especially bridge, blueberry picking and watching the Detroit Tigers. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Georgia was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church and the Otsego Moose Lodge. On December 22, 1945, she married Donald Young who passed away in 2004.
Surviving are her children, Susan Keyzer, Nancy Corradini, Theresa (Chet) Simmons, Ronald (Ruth) Young and Amy (Brian) Blok; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Bob Goodacre.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Penny Goodacre; granddaughter, Kelly Fetterley and sons-in-law, Gary Keyzer, Shawn Tetreault, Dennis Corradini and John Summers.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, March 8, 2024, at St. Margaret Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Simon Manjooran officiating. A luncheon will follow in the McGuire Room.
Burial of ashes will take place at Mountain Home Cemetery in the spring.
