Deepest sympathy to the whole family. I was lucky like countless kids to have Hazel and George open their house and Pine Lake cottage to us, taking pop to our 5th grade basket ball team, and I can’t forget bring my bike to the station to put air in my tires or patch them. Plainwell just lost some history but those who he touched will always have it. Mike,Jim,Kathy,George,Dave,Lisa,Mark and your family my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Terry and I are thinking about all of you and sending prays. Plainwell has lost one of it’s icons. I remember always going down to the station to get the car fixed, a long with gas. As I got older I remember George could not remember my name so he would call me Little Kick after my dad.

I will miss seeing you and Dad on Sunday mornings. Your Dad and his brothers made me feel so @ home in Plainwell when I moved here since I worked across the street from the station. May God take you and the family under his wing, guide you and give you strength. My prayers to you all.

Mike , Pat and family. George was one of my favorite Plainwell fans. If it wasn’t George and his buddy giving it to me when I was coaching JV Basketball – or talking sports over a drink at the Elks – etc. it was always a joy talking to George Pearson. Our thoughts are with you – he will be missed by all that knew him.

Kathy and Family,
Prayers and Blessings to you! Your father (and your mother) were so very lucky to have you especially since you always brought them to church; I could see the love between all of you by your actions and attentive ways with them. Now they are in Heaven together and are Angels watching over you! God Bless you!

I have this picture in my mind what is taking place in Heaven. Here is the poem I read at my Dad’s funeral just 2 months ago and this is how I have begun to picture every Passing from this life to Eternal Life.
Homecoming Party by Jean Formo
(Edited)
Death is God carrying Dad in one arm,
while the other flings aside Heaven’s door
to welcome him back to the blazing hearth of his first home.
While those inside, having arrived before him
Rush to the door like glad Children .. Shouting
He’s Here!!! George is Here!!
Death has a bad name on Earth, But in Heaven,
It’s a homecoming Party every time the door opens.
God does not forget us earthbound children , sad and left behind.
God leaves the party early to enter into our despair
And gets us ready for our own parties someday.
I can just imagine Grandma and Grandpa Pearson’s shining faces along with all Uncle George’s brothers and Sister, running to him and pulling him into the greatest hug there is.
He is strong and walking and healthy and Happy.
Love to you all.
Sheila.
P.S Dax wanted me to let you know he did not steal a bottle of beer from Uncle George’s refrigerator when his Grandpa Hileski asked him to!!!

Our condolences to all of George’s family and friends. I really do object to all the Pearson “boys”, and Shirley of course, being in heaven.
Being earthbound does have it’s drawbacks…Heaven rejoices !!!
“What A Day That Will Be” Hazel must be so glad to have him home.
