Everett C. ‘Red’ Eb’ Brock of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away

Brodhead

Kentucky

and moved to Otsego in 1958. For 12 years he was employed with Weyerhauser (later Plainwell Paper) and had also been a milk truck driver. Red loved to travel, hunt, the out-of-doors, animals and planting trees. He taught himself to play the banjo, Jew’s harp, dulcimer, drobro and the spoons. On

, he married Hattie Ipock-Buckles, who survives. Also surviving are two sons and a daughter, Ronnie (Kathy) Brock, Sr. of Plainwell, Roger (Carol) Brock of Otsego and Darlene Brock of Plainwell; two grandsons, Ronnie Brock, Jr. of Sturgis and David (Jamie) Brock of Otsego; one granddaughter, Becky (Bill) Dennis of Plainwell; five great-grandchildren, Chad, Kyle, Abbi, Ashlie and Mollie. He was preceded in death by three sisters and nine brothers. The family will receive friends from

5 P.M.

Saturday at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where funeral services will be held at

5:00 P.M.

, Dale Brock officiating. Cremation will follow. Contributions in memory of

may be made to Life Care Center of Plainwell.
