Alabama
to Floyd and Essie (Harris) Turner. Erline loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved the Lord and listening to her grandson praying over dinner or at family gatherings. Erline enjoyed going to church, was a lifetime member of
Sulphur
Springs
Baptist
Church
and enjoyed listening to the Gaithers. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning and shopping. On
September 23, 1938
she married Ross Edward Turner, who died
January 1, 1979
. Also preceding her in death were a son, Floyd Gaylon Turner and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Betts. Surviving are two daughters, Nell (Mike) Vida of Enterprise, Alabama and Kerry (Ken, Sr.) Terry of Plainwell; grandchildren, Ken, Jr., Kandy, Katrina, Mickey, Kelly, Chris and Yanic; many great and great-great grandchildren; a brother, A.C. (Lavada) Turner of Decatur, AL; a sister, Eva Letson of Hillsborough, AL; many nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and
6 to 8 P.M.
Friday at
Winkel Funeral Home
where services will be held at
11:00 A.M.
Saturday, with her grandson, Ken Terry, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at
Mountain
Home
Cemetery
, Otsego.
