Jack, Roy, Jeanette, Brenda and Michelle:
Every family reunion that I can remember always has a memory of Emily laughing and smiling. She was always in the corner with my Grandma stirring up some kind of fun. Even when we had our last unplanned family reunion on the cancer floor at Borgess, she was still smiling and telling me how much she loved my boys.
As you were all there for me and my family when our dad passed away in July, we are here for you. I find strength in knowing that Emily is in heaven with my dad, my grandparents, Aunt Mick and Uncle George. God always takes the good ones and leaves us to hold them in our hearts.
I wish I could be there with all of you on Sunday but unfortunately I can not be there in body. My heart, my soul and my thoughts are right there with all of you and I will be praying for all of you. The loss of a parent is the greatest pain but the solice comes in knowing that she is in Heaven, an angel to you now and as Deacon Dean told us, “She is closer to God now so she can answer your calls for help with a little nudge to God.”
Lots of Love

Our heart and prayers are with you in this difficult time. I will always remember aunt Emily’s laughter and warm smile. Such a sweet woman. I’m certain my mother is rejoicing with aunt Emily at her homecoming, where neither of them suffer the aches and pains that plagued there earthly bodies. May God bless you all with peace.
