Great Aunt Emily was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever known. She leaves behind a legacy of knowledge when it comes to gardening, raising pets, livestock, & farming. Many today don’t have the skills and understanding Aunt Emily shared with everyone she knew. She sure will be missed. My condolences to her family and loved ones.

I didn’t see my second Cousin Emily often but when I did, it was sure to be a memorable time. She’d reminisce about times she had with my dad on the farm. Once staying with her in Michigan we played dominos into the night as we laughed ourselves silly. The best memory is ending up in a Vegas Casino together playing slots(she was visiting her daughter and son-in-law)! I am grateful I had these times with my cousin and will always remember her with love and a smile in my heart. My dear Cousin Emily, Rest In Peace.

Sorry to learn about your mother. Have always loved the name Emily. Mom’s are pretty special in that they can take the place of many others, yet no one can take their place. My heart goes out to you in your loss.

My heart goes out to my cousins and all that were touched by my Aunt Emily. I have so many fond memories back as a little girl from the suburbs, visiting with my Aunt and family on the farm. Such a kind soul, always made you feel welcomed! I’m blessed to have had so many wonderful childhood experiences, from swinging on the swing from the trees, to homemade jellies, watching chickens hatch, playing in the hay loft, learning the piano in the piano room, always having fun with my Aunt Emily, and cousins on their farm. She was one of God’s angels on earth and I know her spirit will always be in our hearts forever. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. With deepest Sympathy, Terri Warning (Kubin)

Dearest Cousins & Family,

Your mother brought sunshine in my life from earliest memories of childhood visits to the Michigan farm & blueberry picking to more recent visits when family gathered around her large, dining room to enjoy homemade desserts, share stories and laugh together. We celebrate the joy she shared and support, which she extended to all of us. She prayed steadfastly. Perhaps God saw that she had fulfilled her earthly purpose and His will. We will miss her greatly until we are reunited. We send our sincerest sympathy to each of you at this sad time. We regret that our current circumstances prevent us from attending the memorial service. However, we will be with you in spirit and prayer. Love, Charlotte & Jim

I had no ide he was a Bob Segar fan!

I most certainly will think of him when I hear one of his songs now.

The Little Drummer Boy is one of his best and now Gary will be on my mind each time I hear it this season.

I will see you all in January.

I’m sorry for your loss.
