Edward E. Aukerman of Otsego, Michigan, passed away

in Plainwell. Ed was born
November 15, 1944
in Plainwell to Milliard and Cecelia (Cerajewski) Aukerman and was a lifelong resident of the area. For over 30 years he was employed as a press operator for General Motors, retiring
July 1, 1998
. In his leisure time he enjoyed collecting die cast classic cars and taking care of his home and yard. Ed loved music and especially his family. On
June 12, 1976
in Plainwell he married the former Jeanie Gren, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Steve and Jodi of Otsego, Jeffrey and Barry of Florida, Dennis, Craig, Tina, Terri and Brenda, all of California; grandchildren, Shane, Justine, Joy, Chandler, Colby and Colin; brothers, Donald (Reva) Aukerman and Willis (Maggie) Aukerman; sister, Judy (Les) Witters; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Gren; sisters-in-law, Arlene (Tom) Magierka, Kathy (Scott) Damron and Chris (Ken) Anson; brother-in-law, Marlon (Carol) Gren;- several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his mother, Cecelia Aukerman Padgett; step-father, Elmer Padgett; father, Milliard Aukerman; brothers, Robert, Richard and Milliard; sister, Nancy Merriam; and father-in-law, Arlon Gren. Friends may meet with his family from

Wednesday at the
Winkel Funeral Home,
Otsego,
where services will be held at
11:00 AM
Thursday, Pastor James Collison officiating. Burial will follow at
Mountain
