Dear Gloria, Colleen, Claudette, & families,
We are so sorry about your loss. Doug meant alot to our family and we had so many good times together growing up. We felt so touched by Doug’s visits to dad after Pete passed away and dad was so ill. Gosh, where does the time go. We will be praying for all of you and hoping God’s assurance and peace will fill your void. We are so glad he was able to spend the last of his life closer to you and get to know his nieces and nephews. Praise God!!! There will alway be a special place in our hearts for all of you. With love & hugs, Diane & John Glessner

My family sends a heartfelt message of sympathy to the Garton family. My niece and nephew, Katie and Chris, lost an uncle that they will always regard with respect and honor. As a Vietnam Veteran, Doug sacrificed years of his life serving his country in a horrific war. My brother lost a brother in law and a friend who shared laughs, movies and dinners. My sister in law, Claudette, and her sisters lost their only brother whom they surrounded with love. May all of you find peace and support as you grieve for Doug.
Sending love,
Marcia, Joe, Hannah, and Emma
