Dorothy M. ‘Dot’ Knight of Otsego passed away

. Mrs. Knight was born
November 9, 1918
to Homer and Daisy (Tilley) McDonald and was a lifelong resident of the area. For many years she was employed with the Coating Mill and retired from North American Aluminum. Dot was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church of Otsego. She enjoyed league bowling for over 50 years and golfing. On
June 24, 1937
in Otsego she was married to Claude Knight, who died in 1991. Also preceding her in death were two daughters, Sandra Sparks and Sharon Kellogg; two sons-in-law, Bill Bell and Paul Staley; her brothers, William, George, Carl and Bob McDonald, and her twin brother and sister, Lee and Lena McDonald. Surviving are six daughters and two sons, Sally Staley of Idlewild, Bonnie Bell, Barbara (Bernard) Livingston, Daryl (Kathy) Knight and Bruce (Deb) Knight, Valerie (Mike Dalrymple) Vandervort, Brenda Kling and Wendy (Russell) Tompkins, all of Otsego; two sons-in-law, Donald Sparks and Del Kellogg; 36 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Donna Knight of Otsego, and her sister, Jean (Donald) Marks of Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Mildred McDonald of Allegan; many nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family today from 2 to 4 and
