Dorothy L. Snyder

Dorothy joined her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Rose Arbor Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born August 19, 1919 in St. Louis, Missouri and later moved to Kalamazoo. On June 19, 1937 she married John Wagner and had two daughters, Dori and Lois. In October of 1963 she married the love of her life Kenneth “Jim” Snyder who passed away in 1981. Dorothy loved golfing, bowling, playing bingo, trips to the casino and going out to eat.

Surviving are her daughter Lois (James) Slaughter, 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Dori.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego with Celebrant Bill Rose officiating.

Contributions in memory of Dorothy may be made to Lutheran Church of the Savior in Kalamazoo.
