So sorry to learn of Dorothy’s passing. What a terrific lady! Both Dorothy and Butch were such good neighbors and friends to Rita Bourgoin. She invited us over to her home and I was so impressed! She could have it photographed for House Beautiful! Again our sympathy for your loss. She is now reunited in heaven with Bob and Butch.

Our condolences to Jeff, family and friends.
So happy to have had the chance to get to know Aunt Dorothy a little better over the past year or so, thanks to Sheri and her love of gardening and her desire to help Aunt Dorothy with hers, and thus, also getting to know her better. It was good to hear stories of our mom (Patricia) and grandma, and Dorothy’s growing up years. I wish we had more time to sit and visit with her. She will be missed.

Just learned of Dorothy’s passing. I remember her and Butch in Sunday School at the Church of God. What a wonderful couple. I also remember our Sunday School going to their home for a potluck. Dorothy was such a gracious hostess. She will be missed.

Viola called to let me know of Dorothy’s death. I had been trying to call her with no response to make arrangements to have lunch and a visit. Now I know why. I’m sorry we cannot be at her funeral due to a prior appointment. Please know that my sister, Ruth, and I as well as my husband Kenneth, will keep your family in our prayers and will miss seeing and talking with Dorothy. I well remember Aunt Geneva’s and Uncle Fred’s 100th birthday party. Uncle Fred always reminded me so much of my dad, Carl McClain. It was fun to still have aunts, uncles and cousins together.
God bless you all.
Love,

Jesus foretold a hope that one day we will see our loved ones again happy and healthy, John 5:28, 29 says, “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” I pray this promise along with loving memories of Mrs. Dorothy J. Martin fill your heart with comfort and peace.
