Dorothy I. (Wicks) (Lukins) Cooper of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away

November 2, 1922
in Bradley to August and Gertrude (
Anderson
) Kotrba. Dorothy was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, the Women of the Moose, and enjoyed trips to Sault St. Marie and mushrooming up north. She loved dancing, especially polkas. For many years she tended bar at Jim’s Tavern in Otsego. Surviving are three children, Bonnie (William) Gray of Wayland, Herbert (Bobbie) Wicks and Douglas (Marge) Wicks, both of Plainwell; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-granddaughter; 4 step-daughters. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Wicks in 1948, Max Lukins in 1965 and Darl Cooper in 2007, her brother,
Eugene
, and her sister, Barbara Jean. Friends may meet the family from

inkel Funeral Home

Otsego,
where funeral services will be held at
1:30 P.M.
Saturday, Pastor Scott Fenner officiating. Burial will be at
Fort
Custer
National
Cemetery
on Monday. Contributions in memory of Dorothy may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
