Dorothy was blessed to have so many wonderful caring neighbors, especially Mike and Becky Staley. She received outstanding care from her daughter, Jeannie, and the staff at Centrica Care Navigators. On September 15, 1947, she married Arlon Gren who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Jean Aukerman, Arlene (Tom) Magierka, Kathleen (Scott) Damron, Christine (Ken) Anson and Marlon (Carol) Gren; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren and siblings, Jane Waldeck and Richard and Raymond Shattuck.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; great-grandsons, Caleb and Devon; son-in-law, Ed Aukerman and siblings, Millie, Elsie, Helen, Virginia, Donald, Lester, Arthur, Kenny and infant twins.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
