. Mrs. Wagner was born
August 9, 1921
in Plainwell to Harvey and Maude (Johnson) Hartwell. For many years she was employed with Otsego Sanitary Milk and the Plainwell Granary. She had also been a volunteer with Christian Neighbors. Dorothy enjoyed reading and was an excellent seamstress and quilter. She donated several of her quilts for fund raisers. Surviving are a daughter and a son, Linda DeBoer of Otsego and Richard ‘Dennis’ Burroughs of Kalamazoo; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Arthur Hartwell of Independence, MO; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Walter ‘Ron’ Burroughs; and a brother, Ernest Hartwell. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at
11:00 A.M.
at
Winkel Funeral Home,
Otsego,
with Pastor Dave Alderman officiating. Burial will be at
Mountain
Home
Cemetery
, Otsego. Contributions in memory of Dorothy may be made to Christian Neighbors.
