Doris M. Moran of Otsego, Michigan, passed away

, at Life Care Center of Plainwell. Mrs. Moran was born

May 23, 1924

, in Otsego to Frank and Nora (Aurand) Holmes and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Doris

was a devoted homemaker and especially enjoyed her dogs. On September 26, 1946 in Otsego she married Calvin Moran, who survives. Also surviving are two brothers, Merle (Luella) Holmes of Otsego and Roy (Mable) Holmes of Allegan; a sister-in-law, Mable Holmes of Otsego; several nieces and nephews.

Doris

was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Holmes. The family will receive friends from

8 P.M.

Friday at the

Winkel Funeral Home,

Otsego,

where services will be held Saturday at

11:00 A.M.

, Crista Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at
