. Donna was born
July 15, 1931
in Allegan, the daughter of Ivan and Elsie (Morris) Cronkhite. She was employed with Ot-Well-Egan Country Club, Plainwell Ice Cream and Minnie Sophrona’s. Donna enjoyed raising her family, being with her grandchildren and cooking for those she loved. Surviving are 4 children, Tim (Diane) Walters, of Otsego, Sid (Marlene) Walters of Otsego, Jan (John) Hutchinson of Galesburg and Chris (Mark) DuCharme of Plainwell; 6 grandchildren, Nathan (Annie) Walters, Brett Walters, Ashley (Eric) Terpstra, Brian Hutchinson, Lindsey Sparks and Brandon Sparks; 2 brothers, Jim (Joyce) Cronkhite and Gene Cronkhite both of Otsego; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harris Walters, Bea Stanbaugh, Fran Walters, Vivian (Walt) Reed and Lou (Ned) Sutherland; many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Carl in 2009 and brothers and sisters-in-law, Judy Cronkhite, Dick and Ethel Sims, Bob Sr. and Marian Stokes, Bill Stanbaugh, Effie Walters and Gloria Walters. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may meet with her family from
6-8 P.M.
Tuesday at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where a memorial service will be held at
11:00 AM
Wednesday. Burial of cremated remains will be at
Mountain
Home
Cemetery
, Otsego. Memorial contributions may be made to The Borgess Foundation (Borgess Visiting Nurses/Borgess Hospice).
