Don passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
He was born October 4, 1937 in Hopkins Township, the son of Ronald and Marion (Ritchie) Knobloch. In January 1957 Don married Lena Bailey, they shared 29 years together. He worked for Consumers Energy as a gas lineman for over 25 years.
Don loved fishing and hunting and was a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church in Otsego. For the past decade he served his community weekly as a volunteer for the Christian Neighbors lunch program in Plainwell.
Surviving are his children, David (Lisa) Knobloch of Grandville, Tamey (Richard) Hemminger, Dawn Kirkpatrick and Anthony (Millie) Knobloch all of FL; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Douglas and Jackie and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Macey Kay and by his brothers, Charlie and Lawrence.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends may visit with Don’s family from 4-6 PM, Friday, July 15, 2022 at Peace Lutheran Church in Otsego and from 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 16, 2022 until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Nathaniel Timmermann officiating.
Burial of ashes will take place at 2:00 P.M., at South Martin Cemetery.
Contributions in memory of Don may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.

So sorry to hear of Don’s death. He lived behind the cafe where I worked and we would talk every now and then. He seemed like a very nice man. Again sorry for your loss.
