Donald E. Kridler

Donald passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his home in Plainwell.

He was born October 30, 1932 in Kalamazoo to Darwin and Helen (DeWater) Kridler. Don served his country in the US Navy. He had worked for Farm Services Silo Co. and then for the City of Otsego’s Department of Public Works where he ran the transfer station until his retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, listening to music and playing the banjo. Don was a member of the Otsego Moose Lodge #345. On January 28, 1960 in Kalamazoo he married Zonna Sherwood who survives.

Also surviving are their children, Dianne (Floyd), Donald and Annette; 2 step-children, Genese and Terry; several grand and great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and his sisters, Birdie and Shirley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and a sister.

A celebration of life open house will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 starting at 1:00 P.M. at 939 Marsh Rd. Plainwell.

Contributions in memory of Don may be made to his family for expenses.
