Dolores A. Rouse

Dolores A. Rouse of Otsego, MI passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at her home. She was born August 25, 1927 in Plainwell, the daughter of George and Nettie Gauthier.

For over 25 years Dolores had been employed as a secretary at Parker Hannifin Corp. Dolores enjoyed bowling, golfing, crossword puzzles, wintering in Alabama, playing cards with family, feeding the birds and visiting the ladies at the nursing home.

On July 5, 1947, in Otsego, Dolores married Fay Rouse who preceded her in death in 2005.

Surviving are her children; Ann (Roy) Hoffman, of Florida, Mary Jo (Duke) Jackson, of Otsego, Mark (Karen) Rouse of Plainwell; 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; sister; Dawn Rogers of Plainwell and several nieces and nephews.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, Joe, George and Bob and a sister Audrey.

Friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Friday at the

Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego

with a Rosary at 7 P.M. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Margaret’s Church, Otsego. Interment will follow at St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Otsego.

May your mom rest now, she is truly an Angel in Heaven watching over all of you!

We remember good times being with Dolores! She always made Tim and I feel like part of the family! Playing cards with your mom and dad are what we remember, I could sit and talk with her about a lot of things.

We love you very much!
