Diane passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at her home in Orangeville.
She was born January 11, 1953 in Flint, the daughter of Clarence and Reva (Marsh) Dale. Diane loved her dog Sadie, watching the birds and animals and laying in the sun. She enjoyed electronic gadgets and games, using the internet and watching sci-fi films. On July 11, 1970, in Flint, she married Charles E. Slone who passed away in 2006.
Surviving are her children, Kim (Pat) Blake of Lake City and Charles A. (Amy) Slone of Plainwell; grandson, Patrick S. (Jessica) Blake Jr.; 2 great-grandchildren, Jesa and Jordyn; her boyfriend, Mike Petrowsky; sister, Pat (Gary) Chervus; nephew, Robert (Lisa) Ugarte and their children, Robert Brock and Amber Brock; adopted sisters, Mary McKenzie and her children, Sarah Wherry and Cody Wherry and Doris (Wayne) Mclemore and their children, Aaron Mclemore and Miranda Hollis; special friend, Barb Dudenhoefer along with many cousins and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Linda Dammon.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 18, 2022 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, with celebrant, Bill Rose officiating.
Burial of ashes will take place at Oakhill Cemetery in Orangeville at a later time.
