Claudette and Family…I am so sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. He truly was an amazing man who loved his family. He was always so kind to my mom and me and I’m thankful for the time I got to spend with him out at his house in his barns and learning about tractors. May the GOOD LORD bless, comfort and give you all the strength you need in the days going forward. We love you guys and we are praying for you all.

I keeping thinking and thinking of a word to describe the wonderful man that my uncle was. I don’t think just one word would do it… he was funny, hard working, caring, proud, determined, kind and my favorite kookie! Every Christmas we would always get each other practical joke gifts. I remember one Christmas I was a little disappointed because I thought all he got me was a jar of nuts. Well i should have known something was up because he had the biggest grin on his face. He had me open the jar and lone and behold a coiled snake jumped out at me. There was never a dull moment when he was around! I can honestly say that I am a better person for knowing and laughing with him! I really miss you Uncle Dave, but I know you are up there smiling down on all of us!

Dear Claudette & Family,

Please accept my condolences for the loss of your loved one.

I have known David since we started Kindergarten together

many, many years ago. David was always a very sweet young

man all through our school days. Although I have not seen David

in many years, I have wonderful memories of my classmate.

Although David has gone on ahead…he will be waiting.

May God Bless & sustain you through this time…..

Sincerely,

Pat “Leonard” Clingenpeel

Uncle Dave always had a sense of humor – like Brittany shared, always trying to pull one over on you. He was witty and kind. He was ready to help whenever he could. He was crafty and could build anything – I still have a few cherished Christmas wooden pieces he proudly gave to me 25 years ago. I know these past few years have been painful for him on so many levels but he still gave his best trying to fight through it. God bless you Claudette and family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Jill

Claudette and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I must tell you when I heard that David passed away I instantly thought of what a reunion it was for David too see and hold Todd again. With that thought the tears began, what a talented craftsman David was and my Daddy’s look alike. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers and just find peace in knowing he is with Todd ,his parents and many many family members It is hard to find the strength to go on at these times but God gives us what we need during the hours of despair. I have found comfort in knowing that we must love so unselfishly in these times to let them go, easier said than done I know, but he was a DeBruyne and as my Daddy always told me they are tough….and he taught you all to love hard, enjoy life, buy a pair of bibs, pop a top and let it be what it will be! David hug my Daddy for me and Claudette your an amazing woman…put on your bibbs and reflect back on the amazing man you married. Love to you all

Claudette, Trisha & Tam,

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of your husband (Claudette), and father (Trisha & Tam).

I admired how much he loved his wife and children. He showed his love for you through much patience and understanding. He knew how much you loved him, and he loved you just as much. I will always be grateful to him for embracing me without question. It was my sincere honor to know him, and he will continue to live in my memory for a very long time. He was the man that I wish some day to become.

Again, and although late, please accept my sincerest condolences.
