Darl L. Cooper of Plainwell, Michigan, passed away

in Wayland. Mr. Cooper was born
December 4, 1929
in Otsego to Leon and Louise (Katz) Cooper and was a lifelong resident of the area. Darl served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. For over 30 years he was employed as an electrician with Simpson Paper Co., which later was Weyerhaeuser, and retired from Plainwell Paper Co. He had been a member of the Moose Lodge, the Masons, the American Legion, the VFW, and the Elks Club. Darl loved watching NASCAR and football. In 1965, Darl married Dorothy Kodaba, who survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Cindy (Richard) Biscorner-Mead of Wayland, Deborah (Larry) Zellner of Indiana, Darla (Robert) Swanson of Dewitt, Sheila (Jerry) Thomas of Indiana and Judy (Mike) Chybik of Plainwell; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 3 step-children; several step-grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Cooper of Gun Lake; a brother, Ron Cooper; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Charles Eikemeyer; 2 brothers, Jack and Bob; and by his sister, Doris. Friends may meet the family from
