Not a happy day today, a friend of my children and actually a golf buddy of my husbands also died recently. When I went to see where his services were, there was Dan Seekman’s happy face looking at me.

My remembering of Dan was one of the little Seekman kids who lived down the street from my aunts house on Catherine St. we sure were a crew now that I think of it. Don’t think we could get much poorer but sure didn’t know it. I’m sure you were a good man and I know your family loved you very much.

Things like this just start happening when we reach our 70’s. We’ll all meet again someday and will have fun discussing the lives we all lived and our paths not crossing for many many years until the end comes.

Hi to Lorna, and all of the sibs. God Bless all of you and try to visualize all of us hudling around your old pot belly stove, enjoying the movie theatre downtown on Sat. nites, sure was a big deal as I remember it. Seems like the scout house was pretty exciting too, I remember watching some of you spitting out the meat when you remembered it was Friday night!!

My prayers and best wishes to all of you. Bye Dan save a place for us.
