CARR, Daniel D. Carr of Wayland, MI, formerly of Otsego passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at the Laurels of Sandy Creek in Wayland. He was born November 7, 1934 in Plainwell, the son of Archie and Wilhelmina (Troeger) Carr. Dan proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. For many years he worked at Crescent Metal Products in Allegan. Dan had attended Otsego Church of God and Friendship Wesleyan Church and enjoyed visiting with his many friends. On January 8, 1959 in Otsego he married Pauline Miller who passed away in 2007.
Surviving are his son Gary Carr of Battle Creek, grandson, Jason (Victoria) Decker of Delton; siblings, Geneve (Carl) Flickinger, Lue Camburn and Gene Carr along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and many siblings.
According to this wishes cremation has taken place. Contributions in memory of Dan may be made to Otsego VFW Post #3030 or to Friendship Wesleyan Church of Plainwell.

My deepest condolences go to the family. Daniel was always a joy to have at the Christian Care and Share meals at Martin United Methodist Church. He was always laughing and fun to have at the monthly meals.

So sorry for your loss , I knew him when he worked for Advanced Auto picking up parts and running errands, what a character, I liked him
