Dale Wells, Sr.
Dale Wells, Sr. of Otsego passed away Saturday, July 6, 2013. Dale was born April 6, 1931 in Otsego to Clarence and Helen (Barrett) Wells.
He had worked in the plastics and metal industry as a factory worker and had cut wood on site.
On May 27, 1951 in Plainwell he was married to Margaret May Bailey who survives. Also surviving are his children Harry Wells of Delton, Rick (Marcia) Wells of Plainwell, Christine Branch of Martin, Linda (Steve) Earl of St. Marys, OH, Connie Stanley of Plainwell and Deborah Wells of Plainwell; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; his siblings, David, Albert, Don, Carroll, Joyce, Ben, Linda and Sharon; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his sons, Dale Eugene Wells Jr., Gordon LeRoy Wells, Thomas Allan Wells; a grandson Skyler Lane Branch; siblings, Margie, Doris, Donna, Kay and Hazel.
Friends may meet with his family from 5 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, July 10, 2013, and 10 to 11 A.M. Thursday, July 11, 2013, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego where services will be held at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Mike Risner officiating and Military Honors by VFW Post 3030. Cremation will follow the service.
