Our hearts are heavy and broken after learning of Dale’s passing. Sending peace and love to Kerri, Kyler and Dale’s entire family. He fought a long and tough battle and I could see he was very grateful to have Kerri in his corner supporting him. I was asked to cut his hair a week ago in his hospital room. I’m so grateful I was asked and am happy I had the chance to visit with him for awhile. He is now out of pain and unhooked from monitors, he’s able to move around and feed the deer. He is also forever watching over those he loves, until you/we see him again Much love, Jodi, Mikayla and Keenan

Kerri, I wish I had the words to comfort you during this difficult time. Dale was one of the good guys. You never thought about him without bringing a smile . May God wrap his arms around you and your family while you learn how to get up each day and go on without him here with you. So sorry for your loss.

Thinking of all of Dale’s family during this tragic time. I have known as we attended Allegan St. Elementary together when we moved to Otsego in 3rd grade. Dale was the smiling face that never let anything rattle him. I am sure his bright personality and quick wit traveled with him over the years. Godspeed, Dale.

I live in Kentucky where Dale owns land and got to know him over the last couple years while passing by his place on the way into my families land. Our mutual love for hunting and the outdoors led us to many great conversations and even sometimes daily texting during hunting seasons to see how the other was fairing on the hunt. As someone who doesn’t know anyone else in his family or circle of friends, I know you all must be great and wonderful people by the man I got to know. I’m tremendously sorry for your loss and will certainly be saddened that I’ve lost a new friend and neighbor down in our neck of the woods. God bless and prayers for you all.
