From All the members of American Legion Post 84 of Otsego, we salute Legionnaire Dale Olsten’s service to our country in Vetnam, the American Legion, and service to our community. Dale was a member of Post 84 for around 9 years, and was well respected and loved by his fellow Legionnaires. Dale held a number of positions at Post 84 such as, House & Hall Rental Manager, and also positions as an officer. Dale volunteered a lot for the annual Red Cross Blood Drive when held at Post 84.He always talked about his grandchildren, fishing and hunting, and military events when attending the Wednesday morning veterans coffee get-togethers at Post 84. Dale would always volunteer to help do anything when his health allowed it. Dale will be missed greatly by all of us at Post 84. “Till We Meet Again My Friend” may God hold you near.
Dave Delemme- Post 84 Adjutant / Allegan County commander.
