Cynthia C. ‘Cindy’ Petrowsky of Hopkins, Michigan, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015 at Wings Home in Allegan. She was born November 1, 1957 in Kalamazoo to Ernest and Ruth (Baldwin) Keckler and was a longtime resident of the area. For many years she was employed as a nurse’s aide and medical technician. She loved taking care of people.
In her leisure time she enjoyed baking pies and cakes, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson. Her favorite pastime was ‘junking’ with her sisters and had collected over 1,000 Cabbage Patch Dolls.
On June 25, 1973 in Grand Rapids she married Michael Petrowsky, who survives. Also surviving are her son, Brad Petrowsky of Hopkins; her grandson, Michael ‘Mikie’ Petrowsky; siblings, Rose, Ernie and Tina; a half-sister, Danielle; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael in 1996.
Friends may visit with Cindy’s family beginning at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at the
Winkel Funeral Home,
Otsego, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Hospice Chaplain Greg Carlson officiating. Burial will follow at Hicks Cemetery, Watson Township.

Mike n Brad n Mikie. So sorry to learn of Cindy’s passing, I will sure miss her,glad we got reconnected, I will never forget teaching her to sew n what giggles we had.
