. Mr. Edson was born

September 3, 1945

in Otsego to Harlie and Mary (

Kirkland

) Edson and was a lifelong resident of the area. Curtis grew up in Otsego and attended school there. During the Vietnam War he served his country with the U.S. Marines Corp. He was a ham and citizens band radio operator and enjoyed bowling. For many years he lived at the Stepping Stone Adult Foster Care Home in

Battle Creek

. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Doris Edson of Allegan; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by two sisters and two brothers, Doris Harris, Ruby Nichols, Harlie Edson and Elton Edson. Friends may meet the family from

Otsego.

Graveside services at

Mountain

Home

Cemetery

, Otsego, will be held at

11:00 A.M.

Saturday, Pastor Timothy Secord officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by V.F.W. Post #3030. Contributions in memory of Curtis may be made to Christian Neighbors.
