May 5, 1927
in Otsego, the daughter of Glen and Beulah (Morrison) Nichols. She was an LPN, employed with the Allegan County Health Department. Connie had spent the last 10 winters in Florida. She enjoyed wildlife, gardening, camping, hunting and fishing. Her passion was music. She played keyboard, banjo, accordion and was an accomplished vocalist. While in northern
Michigan
, she played at Senior Centers. Preceding her in death were her husband Wendell in 1997 and her infant daughter Wendy in 1953. Surviving are a daughter and son and their spouses, Shari and Dan Walters of Delton, Danny and Cindi Witt of Gobles; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; her very dear friend of 8 years, Stuart Vollmer. Friends may meet with her family from 2-4 and 6-8 today at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where a service will be held Friday at
11:00 AM
, Pastor Jack Eitelbuss officiating. Interment at
Mountain
