Clair Miller
Clair E. Miller of Otsego, Michigan, (formerly of Ohio) passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 in his home. Mr. Miller was born November 28, 1926 in Glen Richey, PA to Meade and Ada (Bloom) Miller.
Clair had served his country in the United States Army and was a recipient of the WWII Victory Medal. For 15 years he was employed as a draftsman with Goodyear Aerospace before working for Morris Controls until his retirement in 1989. Clair was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Akron, OH and a long time member of the Masons and the Masonic Commandery. In his leisure time he enjoyed woodworking and fishing, and had a love of animals.
On September 3, 1955 in Clearfield, PA he married May Belle (Wisor) Miller, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Wesley (Jeanne) Miller of Otsego and Brent (Sally) Miller of TX; two grandchildren, Stephen (Kristy) Miller and Cassie Miller, both of Akron, OH; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by a brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Helen Miller.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in Ohio.
