Charles F. Lima Jr.

Charlie passed away, Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

He was born August 15, 1942 in Grand Rapids, the son of Charles and Betty (Froman) Lima. After graduating from high school Charlie joined the U.S. Marine Corp, proudly serving from 1962-1964. He drove truck for Nabisco and worked for General Motors for 30 years until his retirement in 2008.

Charlie loved being outdoors and enjoyed bird hunting, fishing, golfing with his friends and hunting trips out west. He liked spending time with Karen at their home in Arizona and loved his dogs.

Surviving are the love of his life, Karen Christensen, his children, Tim (Kristina) Lima, Toni (Reid) Lundeen and Terry (Robin) Lima; grandchildren, RJ, CharlyAnn, Kaitlyn, Brandy and Terry; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Pete Lima and Steve Lima and brother-in-law, Gary Larson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters, Barb, Ann and Laura.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.

A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at a later time.
