Mark, Scott and families,

You have my sympathy in the loss of your mom. I have many fond

memories of Carol Ann. I saw her in Meijers in January and we had

a good visit and reminisced about days gone by. We had a few good

laughs too. I always enjoyed seeing her smile or laugh. I’m happy

that I had that visit with her. She will be missed so much by so many.

To Carol’s family

We were so very sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. Though I haven’t seen Carol in many years, I have many fond memories of her sweet and fun personality in our times together over the years. So sorry we won’t be able to attend her service as we are out of town this whole week. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. May God comfort you with your many happy memories. Wow. Was on this site looking for someone else and discovered that my friend and my Grandmother Aileen (Klintworth) Doubblesteins cousin my mother’s second cousin which Miss Carol and I couldn’t quite figure out if that made us third cousins or third cousins once removed. That made us laugh. We were in the break room around Xmas time and I was talking about my Great Gramdnas molasses cookies were the best and she “begged to disagree” that her grandmothers were the best, only to discover her grandmother was my great Aunt Dora was her Grandma and the recipe was the same. After discovering we were related our quick friendship just grew stronger. I loved and respected this woman so much. Seeing she past has taken my breath from me and broken my heart. I’m honored to have known this gracious wonderful kind woman. She is loved and missed.
