Candy L. Fancher

Candy passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at her home in Plainwell.

She was born August 4, 1957 in Cadillac, the daughter of Gerald and Ina (Brooks) Gardner. Candy worked at KJB Graphics, Boulter Hardware and Gifts and Parker Hannifin. In her free time she loved doing arts and crafts, especially painting, ceramics and needlepoint.

Her grandchildren were pillars of her existence. She co-founded multiple organizations in Allegan County including Allegan CAN Council among others. Her dedication to community and family were such an inspiration to all that loved her.

She married her first husband Kevin and spent 14 years together. They shared two children, Brandi and Erick. In 2001 she married Terry Fancher who survives.

Also surviving are her children, Brandi Boulter-Davis and Erick (Kendra) Boulter; 6 grandchildren, Caden, Jasmine, Bryant, Rennen, Rush and Olivia along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law, Kenneth Davis and siblings, Terry and Judy.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place.

Candy and I are cousins when we was younger we did hang out a lot are mothers are sisters she would help anyone when she could I remember being at her moms house and we were outside on her front porch on brigham street enjoying watching her little girl Brandi trying to walk and her mom was helping her that memory stays in my mind of all of us together I will miss her . Sorry for the loss of your mother

Candy was like a sister to me. I’ve know her for 50+ years. She is my son’s aunt. Candy, you will be missed by many. Love you always. To the family, may your memories bring you comfort. My love and prayers are with you all.

I’m so sad to read this and I’m so sorry for your loss.

Candy was such a kind and gentle soul and I’m so glad she was my friend. She loved her family to the moon and back.

Candy was a cousin to me. A very special cousin. She was loved by all who new her. She’s never had an enemy. She loved her children and family so so much. We’ve had so many good times together, escapades! and such. We always had a giggling good time! I will surely miss her. Rest well Can.
