ied peacefully Friday, February 26, 2010 at Life Care Center in Plainwell. Mr. Brabon was born February 6, 1915 in Martin. He worked for KVP (James River, Brown Co.) retiring after 23 years. Burnath farmed most of his life and had a “green thumb” he enjoyed gardening and his house plants and also enjoyed CB radio and camping. On July 19, 1934 in Morley he married Margaret (Gardiner) who preceded him in 1991. Surviving are 8 children, Richard (Jo) Brabon of Battle Creek, Robert (Helen) Brabon of Allegan, Donna (Terry) Wolfe of Martin, Eugene Brabon of Allegan, Marian (Don) Phelps of TX, Wendy of MN, Deborah Doll of Martin and Gregory Brabon of Plainwell; 26 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Also preceding him in death were his parents; and 4 children, Burnath Jr., Eleanor, James and Ronald. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the

Winkel Funeral Home

where services will be held Thursday at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Dave Selleck officiating. Cremation will follow. Contributions in memory of Burnie may be made to the Diabetes Association.
