Bruce L. Ruhl

Bruce passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 from complications due to diabetes at the Wings Home in Allegan.

He was born November 24, 1965 in Cadillac, the son of Donald and Laura (Hittle) Ruhl. Bruce worked at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Otsego and was a bus aide for AAESA. He loved playing the piano and singing at area churches including Friendship Wesleyan Church where he was an active member.

On August 8, 1987 he married Deborah Nelson who survives.

Also surviving are his daughter, Margaret “Maggie” Ruhl; mother, Laura of Wyoming; siblings, Kelvin (Melissa) Ruhl of Cadillac and Darlene Ruhl of Wyoming along with several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father.

According to his wishes cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at Friendship Wesleyan Church at a later time.

Contributions in memory of Bruce may be made to his family for expenses.

Mr. Bruce has been my daughter kayonas bus aid for years, he was very special to her and she asks for him daily. This news has beyond devastated our family we are daily praying for maggie and Deborah we will miss you so much !!

We are so sadden to hear about Bruce. We went to church at Friendship Wesleyan with him and Deb, and Maggie. He was always so kind and always had a smile, he will be greatly missed, Deb and Maggie , just know that Bruce is with his Savior, and in no more pain. We are praying for you all for Gods Grace and Comfort, to get through this, we love you guys

Debbie and Maggie, So sorry to hear of Bruce’s passing. My prayers are with you. The Lord will get you through this. He did me and as I look back, I am amazed at the way he helped me emotionally and financially. We serve a great God. May he hold you in his hands through the coming days.

May the Lord comfort your hearts and fill you with the wonderful memories you all shared. I always enjoyed running into Bruce at the shop or at a local store. He will be missed.
