Bridgett R. Dee

Bridgett passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2024, in Plainwell. 

She was born June 7, 1963, in Holly, the daughter of James and Patricia (Irish) Prescott. Bridgett owned and operated Dee-Tails Doggie Daycare in Plainwell for many years. 

She was not just a successful businesswoman, but a loving wife to her husband, Roger, a devoted mother to her daughters, and a doting grandmother to her beloved granddaughters. Her family meant the world to her and she was happiest when spending time together.

Apart from her professional achievements and family life, Bridgett had a creative spirit that knew no bounds. She was known for her craftiness, whether it was through intricate projects or tending to her garden. Bridgett will be remembered for her giving heart and selfless generosity to not only her family but to the many lives she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, passion and unwavering dedication to those she held dear.

Surviving are her husband, Roger; daughters, Amber (More) Israel and Ashley (Kyle) Waterstone; granddaughters, Radiance and Reverie Israel and Hazel and Pearl Waterstone; mother, Patricia Boyes and brother, Jim Prescott. 

She was preceded in death by her father, James. 

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. 

Friends may celebrate Bridgett’s life with her family from 2-4 P.M., Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego. 

Contributions in memory of Bridgett may be made to Paws with a Cause of Wayland or Richland Animal Rescue.
