. Mr. Van Horne was born

May 3, 1933

in Plainwell, the son of Dorsey and Lillian (Cobb) Van Horne. He served in the US Army and was employed as an electrical engineer. He was interested in genealogy. Boyd is survived by 2 children, William (Sharon) Van Horne of Troy, MI and Sara Van Horne of Clinton Twp., MI; 2 grandchildren, Nicholas Van Horne and Emily Van Horne both of Troy, MI; a brother, Norman Van Horne of Grass Valley, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Van Horne. Friends may meet with the family Wednesday from

1:00

to

4:00

and

5:00 to 8:00 P.M.

at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, MI. Military graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:30 A.M. at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI. Memorial contributions may be left to the American Cancer Society.
