, to Cecil and Elsie Mae (Garrison) Leversee. She was a 1936 graduate of
Kalamazoo
Central
High School
. In 1937 she was married to Lloyd Conner and then worked at KVP Sutherland as a secretary. During WWII she worked in a factory to support the war effort. In 1958 she married Richard Brewer and was then employed with Beech Products for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a dedicated secretary to her employers. After retirement the Brewers moved to White Cloud for about 10 years before moving back to the area in the mid 80s. In her leisure time she enjoyed knitting hats and mittens that were donated to children in need, she also liked spending time snowmobiling and boating with her family. Surviving are her children, Areitta Jacobs of Otsego, Cecil (Shirley) Conner of Delton, David (Wendy) Conner of Plainwell and Barb (Bruce) Holzhausen of Owosso; step-children, Sandra (Richard) Kurtz of Richland and Rick (Connie) Brewer of Plainwell; 15 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard Brewer, her sister Esther Verburg and a son-in-law, Norman Jacobs. Cremation has taken place. Graveside services at
Hillside
Cemetery
, Plainwell, will be held at
10:00 A.M.
Saturday. Contributions in memory of Blanche may be made to the Alzheimer’s Associtiaon.
