Beverly
Beverly Cox
Beverly J. Cox of Otsego, Michigan, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 in the arms of her family. She was born October 17, 1936 in Homer to Clinton and Bertha (Carlisle) Drinkwater. Beverly was a devoted homemaker and loved being with her family and taking care of her grandkids. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, working in her yard and she loved to dance.
Surviving are seven children, Marvin (Nancy) Cox of Otsego, Robert (Pattye) Cox of Kalamazoo, Steven (Carla) Cox of Cooper, Elaine (David) Cowels of Martin, Dora (Bruce) Watson of Plainwell, Nora (Richard) Cheyne and Michelle (Frederick) McCloud, both of Otsego; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Dwight (Betty) Drinkwater, Joyce Piepkow and Carol Hebert all of Springport and Janice (Jim) Butler of Homer; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin R. Cox in 1990; and by her siblings, Gerald Drinkwater, Doris Rowbotham, Marlene Howell, June Bigelow and William Drinkwater.
Friends may visit with Beverly’s family from 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the
Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego
, where a Funeral Service will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M., June 26, 2015, celebrant Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Beverly may be made to the family for expenses. Messages of condolence may be posted at
